What is WeTheNorth?
WeTheNorth (WTN) is a Canada-only darknet marketplace, launched in July 2021 as the successor to CanadaHQ. It connects Canadian buyers with Canadian vendors for roughly 9,000 listings, takes Bitcoin and Monero with CAD pricing, and puts every order through escrow. You reach it via its onion address or its mirrors at wtnmarket.ru, wtnmarket.net and wtnmarket.store.
I'm new — where do I start?
Read our buyer's guide top to bottom. The short version: install Tor Browser, register, enable 2FA, make a small BTC or XMR test deposit, order from a high-feedback vendor, and never finalize early.

Can I browse WeTheNorth without Tor?
Yes — the clearnet mirrors let you browse listings from any browser. Registration, logins and orders are best done over Tor via the onion address for privacy. More detail on our guide.
Which mirror should I use?
They are the same market with one database: wtnmarket.ru, wtnmarket.net and wtnmarket.store. Use whichever loads fastest today; switch when one is slow. All are listed on our homepage.
Is there a forum?
Yes — wtnforum.net and wtnforum.ru. Vendor reputation threads and market announcements live there.
Buying & selling
Can I buy from outside Canada?
Not really — domestic-only shipping is a core market rule. WeTheNorth exists specifically so Canadians can order without customs risk. If you are in Canada, that rule is the product.
How are vendors vetted?
Vendors pay a non-refundable fee, must publish a PGP key before selling, and live or die by public feedback. A vendor with a multi-year feedback history is the market's strongest trust signal — check the forum for the long version.
What can't be sold on WeTheNorth?
The rules ban weapons and explosives, fentanyl, prostitution and anything related to child exploitation or terrorism. Shipping outside Canada and off-platform contact sharing are also prohibited.
Money
Bitcoin or Monero?
Both work. Bitcoin is easier to acquire in Canada; Monero is private by default and preferred by privacy-focused regulars. See payments explained.
What is the vendor commission?
A flat 5% on sales — published by the market and simpler than most competitors' fee schedules.
